Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion of your data, including data associated with your Facebook / Meta account connection to Abijany.

This page satisfies Meta's Data Deletion Instructions URL requirement for apps that use Facebook Login. It is the authoritative reference for deletion requests relating to Abijany's Facebook/Meta integration.

Connected via Facebook Login?

If you authorised Abijany to access your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Business Manager or ad accounts, you can revoke that access directly from Facebook at any time — no need to contact us first.

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy SettingsApps and Websites (desktop direct link: facebook.com/settings?tab=applications).
  2. Find Abijany in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove to revoke access immediately.

Revoking access stops Abijany from making any further API calls on your behalf. To also delete the data we hold about you, follow the steps below.

What data do we hold?

When you connect a Meta or Google Ads account to Abijany, we store:

  • Your email address and account registration details
  • Your Meta ad account ID and Business Manager ID (not your Facebook profile data)
  • Advertising campaign performance metrics from your ad account
  • AI agent decisions and their outcomes (anonymised metrics only)
  • A reference to your encrypted OAuth token in AWS Secrets Manager (not the token itself)

We do not store your Facebook profile, friends list, personal posts, messages, or any personal Facebook data beyond what is strictly necessary to manage your advertising account. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How to request data deletion

To request deletion of all data we hold about you, send an email to privacy@abijany.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

Please include in your message:

  • The email address associated with your Abijany account
  • Your Meta Business Manager ID or ad account ID (if known)
  • A brief description of what you would like deleted

We will verify your identity and confirm the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request, as required by UK GDPR. We will provide a confirmation reference number by reply email.

What happens when we delete your data?

Upon confirmed deletion:

  • All active background jobs for your account are immediately cancelled
  • Your OAuth token is revoked at the Google / Meta revocation endpoint
  • Your encrypted credentials are deleted from AWS Secrets Manager
  • Your account record, business configuration, performance data, and AI decision logs are deleted from our database
  • Your account is flagged as inactive and you will no longer be billed

We are required by UK law to retain billing records for 6 years. All other data is deleted in full. See our Privacy Policy — Section 4 for full retention periods.

Checking the status of your request

When we process your deletion request, we will send you a confirmation email with a unique reference number. If you have not received a response within 30 days of your request, please follow up at privacy@abijany.com.

Other data rights

You also have the right to access, correct, or port your data. For any other privacy-related request, contact privacy@abijany.com. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
